Thats amazing haha i would kill for that. Once my 951 is up and running, me and 9fitty1 will be having some fun on local highways 
. Two 951's ripping around... whether people know its a porsche or not i guarantee u they will stare in awe. Hopefully some guy in a 996 gets jealous and wishes he has a friend to drive around with but sadly other 996 users dont care. Owell, ill be having fun and ill still wave at him :P

This past Sunday I had two weird experiences: Coming north on Lake Shore Drive, a guy in a Boxster waved at me (first time ever from a Boxster owner) and outside a Borders I pulled up, a guy looks at my car and says "whoa, what's that?" Before I can answer his girlfriend says "Porsche 928S, sounds like the 16-valve model to me. Early 80s, right?" She laughed as both of our jaws dropped, but they kept walking so I didn't hear how she knew. She kept looking back at the car, though.

Reminds me of some Bud Light commercials up here, time for the referee to come in, and award the girlfriend to you, on basis of an un-educated boyfriend, lol.

Had an older 911 initiate a wave to me last weekend. I think it's cool to be friendly to people with the same interests. Jeep guys are better at waving than porsche guys in my experience.

I had a Jeep guy drive by me and yell "I like your car," I gave him a wave and a thumbs up. I was on 316 just cruising to 53 and swing by Road Atlanta to check out the BMW club DE then on home to Atlanta where a 951 gave me a wave as well.
