Default Back In Business... New 951 Pics

Hi Guys and Gals,

I am back in the 944 game. I missed my old car way to much and finally have made the move to buy a 944 turbo. I picked this one up about a month ago. The car runs great and is a blast to drive. The only mod the car came with was the chip/banjo bolt combination.

I am currently boosting at 20psi (thank God I'm not detonating) and the car feels very powerful. Visually its in great shape.

You can see pics of her here:

I hope you are all doing well and I look forward to having a great time back at Rennlist!

Cheers!
SHAUN

Nice 951. Glad to see you back. I'm guessing the front seats have been recovered at some point. I'e never seen that type of leather on any other 924/44/68. Looks a lot like the 'supple leather' option for 996 and Boxster cars. Also, very nice front splitter and wheels on the car. They give it a very aggressive look.

I really like the leather seats - those are not original, are they? It looks like higher quality leather than I've seen in any other 944/951 picture.

How did you paint the rear bumpers? Let us know how they hold up.

About the only problems I see with the car:
- missing camshaft gear inspection plug
- someone broke off the plastic cover on the end of the fuel rail (that covers the cap)

So, that's a testament to how nice the car looks. Nice purchase!

Thanks for the compliments!

I am not too sure about the seats. The PO told me that he had them reupholstered at some point. I really don't like the scrunched look all too much but many people have given me compliments. The seats are in very good condition although. *(If anyone is interested in trading for some factory tan seats let me know)

And yes, it was me who had that Black E34 BMW. I got my dealers license finally so I have gone through some cars since selling the old 944.

1985.5 Porsche 944NA
1992 BMW 525I
2001 Mercedes E320 Sport AMG
1998 Audi A6 Quattro
1987 Porsche 944 Turbo

Of all I would have to say the 951 is the best in the looks/performance department, but deffinitly the E320 for driver comfort/pleasure.

I thought John Anderson died.

If he didn't drop dead then why didn't the lowlife piece of turd pay Dave the money he promised him for the motor he botched up? Must be a different Anderson for sure.

Imagine that a POS like the Anderson that took an honest guy like Dave's money, promises to return it to make good on the botchup he did and then lets people believe he went out of business while at the same time takes Shaun's money. Nah, must be a different Anderson for sure.

Either that or Shaun's pictures came from his computer that burned.
