Nice job. I'll be doing the same thing in a year or two so I appreciate the pics.
I was gonna say something about the oil pressure sender being in the wrong spot but I noticed that on the last page you had moved it to the right spot.

Pete - wow, good eye! i did have it in the wrong spot initially, but moved it when the lower balance shaft support would not fit.

Cruise98 - i placed a crush washer under the oil pickup tube. the factory manual showed a "seal" there so i assumed it was a crush washer. i understand the inability to create oil pressure without the seal, i guess i'll have to remove and reinstall the oil pan to install the clear seal.
BTW - thank you very much for all the help and answers. I do have the correct locations for all the seals determined now.

can anyone else verify that the clear seal installs on the oil pickup tube? i've already got the oilpan on and would like confirmation before i remove it.
