So true, these guys ripped me off...

I've got one in my 3 liter 944 turbo, and I love it. I resisted getting one for years because I figured, with that wide torque band, who needs another gear? But, the big hop from first to second is gone, and the engine drops from the power peak back to the torque peak - doesn't seem to lose boost. Feels just right. And, the throws seem both shorter and lower effort (how dey do dat?). I have an abs sensor on one wheel for the speedo, and I must admit the speedo does get flakey in the 110 - 125 mph range. My understanding is that there's two kinds of limited slip in this transmission - mechanical and torsen, with the mechanical being more robust - that's what I have. I've got 370 rwhp and 380 lb-ft at the rear wheels, so it seems to handle the power okay. My 5 speed didn't have limited slip, so I had an inside corner wheel spin problem before. Now, I can feel the rear ending hunting for grip, and on corners the rear end rotates around - perfectly controllable with the gas - it's big fun.

Of all the mods I've done to my car, this has been one of the most satisfying.
