Looks like Asarus (Seb) is online right now. You might want to shoot him a PM and see if he has the final word on the tow hook/eye differences for different cup cars..............

And a "special bonus"

Here is the picture of the specific french front tow hook. It was sold by Sonauto (now called Zell Motors) who was the french importer for Porsche before the arrival of Porsche France (in 1998). According to Porsche AG, it's not a Porsche part (i tried to order one) but a specific part only sold in France for the Cup cars. It's an amovible hook and has nothing special apart this

A friend told me that it was illegal in France to have tow hooks mounted on cars since people could get hurt walking into them.. Maybe that's why there was one available that would collapse to either side?

He's right... in France you get a fine if you have a "dangerous object" in front of your car. And the policeman will decide what is dangerous or not...

Thanks for the pics Seb.

So, I'd like to copy the rear tow eye that came on the french cup cars, since I have no provision for screwing a tow eye into the 931 euro bumper that I have.

Is there anyway you can get me a few good shots of how it attaches (I assume to the mount holes for the bumper shock?)?

Thanks..................
