Default 24mm torsion bars

are they worth anything? I just pulled these from an '89 S2 and considering that the NA's are 23.5mm I doubt they are worth anything at all but I figured I'd ask.

Are they 24 or 24.5mm? I'm pretty sure the ones I just pulled from my S2 are 24.5. They're the only pieces I pulled off that I haven't sold yet. I was thinking about ebay but none seem to sell there either. I'm thinking if somebody wants them they can pay the shipping cost and I'll give them away, I doubt I'll ever decide go through the trouble of putting them back in, especially with how much better the upgraded ones are!

dave I measured out the ones I have at around 24.25mm but all the specs I've seen say that they should be 24mm I was assuming that the extra .25mm was from the paint but I don't know for sure.

Not worth much.
Due to the time takes the 25-50 lbs increase in spring rate you get is not worth the effort to change them.

You could probably use them as self defese sticks

I've a pair of 27mm hollows -- are they worth anything? It's such a pain to install, I've been putting it off for a year now...

hey joe,
what's the effective rate of the 27mm? i am probably going to reindex my bars soon and maybe would consider installing some heavier bars if i got them cheaply enough.
