Looks really nice. I've got 10k, I'm looking for a turbo with 70-90k on it, and with tan interior. I like all colors cept black exterior.
LoL.
Problem: I live in AZ.
Oh well...

Jonathan (NeedPorscheSpeed) and Nabeel-you guy's are good. I took a picture of the option sticker-Malven Red it is.

So, the question is, do I put this in the classifieds-I told him to stay away from eBay. I think I'll list it on the PCA website.

By the way Faithless-it would probably be $700 to ship the car to you in an enclosed trailer...

Thanks! Also, thanks for clarifying that color for us! That is quite a rare color he has there! How I love rare colors! I dream of a Rubystone Red 968 or 964 CS. One day...

If only it were January '05. I could pick up a second 944 for my family's place in Vegas.

Ah, to dream...

Well, If he wanted to hang onto it for a couple months more...

Do you have a picture of a RubyStone red 968, Jonathan?
Would it be entirely unreasonable for me tochange my plans to try and buy one with that colour?

Raven...
... wouldn't you need a little more than a repaint? maybe some body work, frame straitening, and a door? Or did you buy a new 951 already?

Greg, I am aware of only two in the world... one in Europe and one in the U.S. Rubystone Red was a color offered only during 1991 and 1992, and very few Porsches left the factory in the color. I do have a picture of one in my 968 book, and, if you want, I will scan it and send it to you. I am afraid that for the dream to come true, i.e., for me to have a Rubystone Red 968 in the garage, I would have to do something that I'm not a big fan of--repainting in a different color. For the dream, however, I would make an exception.

Bloodraven: I agree; Maraschino Red Met. is lovely! I am such a sucker for the various shades of Red that Porsche has made: Velvet, Maraschino, Rubystone, Arena, the list goes on!

I have a pic of a Rubystone Red 968 on my home computer. I won't be able to post it until late tonight.

I'd appreciate that Pete.
After I buy the 968 to conservatively mod and daily driver i want to rebuild the 944. A re-paint will most definatlely be in order, so maybe...

Found it but it's a 944. I believe this is Rubystone Red. At least the guy who posted it thought so.

Doing some 968 research got me looking at other colours. And because i don't want to hijack, i've opened a new thread in 968 land.

Bingo! That's definitely Rubystone Red! That must be a 1991 S2, as the color was only offered in 1991 and 1992.
