You may need to sand off some of the powdercoating and also increase the inside diameter of the rims where the center goes in. If you had a dremel tool or better yet an air powered die grinder, on of those 20,000 rpm type and a pile of sanding disks, flap wheel, or abrasive bits you could remove some material on the ID of the rims. Be careful that you don't slip and get the polished part of the outer, or your knuckle, 20,000 rpm takes off skin real fast. As long as you work all around the rim, not in sections it would be very difficult to cause the wheels to be out of round after assembly. The powdercoater should have some special abrasive disks that are like scotchbrite that polishes the powdercoating down instead of sanding it down, leaving it much smoother.

Thanks guys, well it seems the powdercoater agrees with Mike and Alan. They told me to dremel the rims. Just keep the dremel moving at all times and it shouldnt do any harm at all. Just keep testing them until they slide in. So thats the new game plan (dont have a die grinder Im afraid....)
Thanks for chiming in Alan...

Coating is usually 3-4 mil and it will cause a problem with clearance on almost any coated part. Learned the hard way, sorry, I should have mentioned it. BTW - they look good!
