How to clean coolant reservoir?
Over the weekend I plan to flush my cooling system. My coolant reservoir is kind of nasty since I had my oil cooler seals go bad earlier this year--oil got into my cooling system. Any advice on how to clean the reservoir? Right now I'm thinking (1) remove from car, (2) fill with soapy water, (3) shake the heck out of it, and (4) rinse. I hope somebody might have some better ideas???

You got it, just forgot the repeat. Like the comedian that followed the instructions on the shampoo bottle, rinse - repeat, couldnt leave the shower kept repeating. use laundry detergent or dawn. use just a little remember oil floats.

1) Remove it from the car
2) Replace it with a new one
They dont really come very clean, unfortunately. Paragon sells them for about 80 dollars
