I just want an F-40, F-50, Enzo, 288 GTO, 355 Challenge, 512 BB, 512 TR, and a 360 Challenge Stradale and I'd be happy oh and a 1979 308 GTB to play around with when it comes to Ferraris

for Porsches, '02-'04 996 GT2, '95 RS 3.8 Clubsport, '04 Carrera GT, '73 RS 2.7, '97 993 Turbo S, '82 Weissach 928, '76 934, 550 Spyder, '95 928 GTS, '86 951 Cup, '87 930S, and a 2004 GT3RS

But, then again, I've been accused of wanting too much in my life

My bosses boss pulled in with a brand new 360. My boss ran in to grab me (he knows i am crazy for porsches and ferraris.) so i can take a look. what a great looking car. My 944 looked like a yugo wile sitting next to that thing. WOW what a nice car. He was leaving the parking lot while I stood there waiting for him to give it a little gas while he took off. Just like an old man in a Buick he barely touched the gas as he motored away. I couldn't even hear the exhaust. I cried i was thinking to myself " come one... come on.... COME ON!!!....... get ON IT!!!!!!!!

Exactly... what's the purpose of owning a really high-performance car if you don't "smoke the meats" every now and again?!?!

Seems like he's driving it like he can't afford to replace it. What fun is that?

he was saying " Ya I just purchased a Bently W12 twin turbo blah blah blah" The dude has way too much $$$$ cha ching. I asked my boss what was up with the guy not getting on it. He just shrugged his shoulders. What is funny is on those Best Motoring video's from japan they test all sorts of cars on the track and I remember watching the 360 battle against the EVO, NSX, WRX STI, 911 Turbo and a couple of others. The EVO and 911 TT waxed the 360! My buddies modded EVO was parked right next to my car in the lot. I was going to say something refering to the video but I shut my mouth.

I always have a lot of respect for those cool headed guys driving "mean" 400-600hp, pavement pounding machines, who drive the speed limit, use their signals, stay on the right lane, and act cool even though they KNOW, that if they WANTED to, they could outrun just about every car on the freeway.
They leave "the racing" to the drag strip and the track.

Some other common reactions you get when driving a Ferrari:

1. At the light, everyone wants to race you
2. People follow you closely making you wonder if they are splitting the deductible just to smash into your car.
3. Cops hope you will do something dumb so they can pull you over.
4. Truck drivers hate you AND speed up to 75-80 MPH in 55 MPH zones just to zip by you
5. People expect you to drive in the fast lane so they can use "the fast lane" law. So even if you are going 75MPH in the left lane, someone spots your car, and will flash the brights for you to get out of the way, hence, driving on the right lane eliminates this road abuse.
6. High school kids adore you and some college girls might look at you. Contrary to popular belief, in Minnesota, Ferraris attract males, not the good looking girls. Time to move?

Other then that, the "Do you wanna trade?" from guys in delivery vans, though meant to be funny, is getting annoying after a hundred times. But, in the end, there are far more positive reactions than negative ones. For the most part, 99% of the people are curious and interested. The most disgusting question I get is, "how much did you pay for it". I never answer that.
