Question Problem Diagnosis Help please

Ok so i got in my car today and when i went to drive it i found my binkers or hazard lights are not working correctly. Here is waht it looks like: When i put the blinkers on the Binker light on the dash quickly lights then shuts off, from outside the car the lights on that side stay on instead of blink. Same thing for other side and the Hazzard lights when i put them on.

My best guess is that the relay in the fuse box (the one under the hood) for the binkers has gone bad. I do not have a good relay to use to try and test my theory. What do u guys think? Also i am at college in Ithaca NY and there are no Porsche dealers near by but when i looked at the relay is has a Audi and VW symbol on it and there is a local VW dealer do u think they might have the relay if that is my problem.

Thanks for the help

Check your blinker fluid. There's a thread on this.

Really.......its really a common thing........most likely a burned out bulb. Check that first. We just have way to much fun sometimes.

if the car is off and you tuen the signal on, the parking lights on that side of the car will stay on and not blink - but thats some weird german parking thing. I'm assuming you're talking about this happening while you're driving the car - that would be a burned bulb.
