Anyone else heard of this? I want one, and can't find one! From what I hear it takes you through reading all the signals at the DME harness to help solve any/all electrical quirks that hinder/prevent proper engine operation. If anyone has one and/or knows where I can get one let me know!!!

They call it a "DME test plan" but very few of the test points involve looking at anything DME related at all.
You do have to remove the DME to make sure it's getting power/ground at the connector, and that the TPS is working for IDLE and WOT.
There are also steps to look at various sensors in the engine compartment (such as the engine temp sensor, AFM). But I don't recall that this has any real testing of the DME itself.

I was under the impression that it was a seperate book or pamplet that Porsche put out. And that it involved testing all the signals that come into the DME at the harness. I will look through my service manual and see if it covers what Im thinking about. Thanx!

It is a sperate booklet derived from the factory manuals. Was a web site in Europe that had it on it in PDF. One for the early 944's and one for the later 944's. Remarkably the same.
