Exclamation URGENT: P/N NEEDED!!!

I just got done checking under my '90 S2 after smelling gas near the pass side rear quarter!
The fuel filter to hard-line hose has split! Can anybody please post the part diagram for the fuel lines (Particularly in the filter/tank area).

Thank you!
(I do NOT like the smell of gas under "my baby"!!)

Are you refering to the part labled 12? If it is, two part numbers are listed for that...

941-356-047-10
951-356-047-03

Not sure which one you would need for your car...

So you have an idea of what your looking at, part #13 is the fuel filter. Sorry i cant be much more help, but i claim to be no expert in reading these diagrams still .

THANK YOU!!! P/N 12 is it... Now...How do I figure out which one is right for a 1990 944S2?

I actually have the 941-356-047-10 in my hand - I bought it two years ago after I did the clutch and noticed that the line looked a little swollen... But the part didn't look the same as the one on the car. The one on the car looks like the one in the picture - with a long metal hose on the end that connects to the filter. The -10 part is all rubber except the connectors.

Damn I P-O'd at myself... I was going to get around to figuring it out... Now - I NEED TO KNOW!

Would 951-356-047-03 be for the 944 Turbo?

I dont really know if there is a difference between the fuel systems or length of hose or anything. The 951-356...etc part # also has 'Model : M 249' next to it, while the 941...etc part is blank.

The part # for 10 is... 951-356-061-02.

Sorry i cant be of much more help, but im still trying to learn how to figure out parts of this thing.

Crap! I tried the 941-356-047-10 part along side the old one... NFG! It appears that the metal end on the original is there to allow the hose to make a tight turn to clear the tranny mount... The 941-356-047-10 part is rubber from end to end... Doesn't look like it could make the bend without seriousely kinking...

Looks like I need to get the 951-356-047-03 Hose ASAP... At least the hose stopped dripping... Should've made this one a priority...

Exclamation 944S2 Fuel Line

For the archives... At least for a 1990 944S2
It appears that the Dealer part database calls out the wrong fuel line for the one that goes from the fuel filter outlet to the hard line on the chassis (Item #12 on the exploded view).

Porsche # 941.356.047.10 is wrong! (Hose has 90 deg bend and is all rubber)

The correct number is 951.356.047.03 (Hose has metal elbow)

From what I've been able to figure, the "wrong one" is for an automatic.

There have been a LOT of posts regarding the lines to the fuel rail (Particularly for 951's [fires]) which are easy to see and check... Based on my little episode... I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THE TANK END AS WELL!

Back in business! No leaks!
