They are a decenty sticky tire. They will wear fast on the street, but are sticky for autcross/DE. They are not as sticky as the race tires from Hoosier, Kuhmo, and Michelin though............
I have a set on my autocross wheels. They are better than street tires, but not the fastest race tire out there. They are great for people like me that put them on and drive to events that are less than 100 miles away. Any more than that and I stick them in the hatch and switch there.

I love mine on the na. I'll be buying a new set fairly soon. Like Tifo said, because of the sticky (read, "soft" compound) they do wear pretty fast but are a great compromise between track and street.

I am using the T1-S. Bought from a local tire supplier (because they specialized in Porsche alignment). I'm sure I could have gotten them cheaper online.

I bought mine from The WheelSource (here local). Actually, they wear pretty even on the street. Most guys I know with semi normal to mildy aggressive suspension settings can get about 6K miles on them with a generous peppering of events thrown that mix.
One thing. They are noisy on the street. There is a definite hummmmmmm at 50mph and above.

Good DE tire that will tolerate the street and SOME wet weather. Once you start to grind them down, they are not like deeply grooved street tires in the rain and can be an adventure. Skitching along at 70 mph on the highway coming home from a track day, not fun.
That said, I like them very much as a DE tire. They will cry a bit more at the limit than the Victoracers and Hoosiers. They will also pick up and toss around every flippin' tiny stone in your neighborhood, quite sticky.
I run 235/45/17 and 275/40/17 on Fikse's for track events and drive on them to/from. I have left them on for weeks at a time in between events, but the drone of tire hum will give you a headache after too many daily commutes.
If the car doesn't see autocross or DE work, you have better street choices. But if you toss in some track work, want something that sticks really well, tolerates many heat cycles, and can tolerate some quantity of wet weather... They are a very good choice.
Now, if I can just get two more track days outta the fronts this weekend...

I run them on my 944-spec car. The RA-1 is the spec tire for 944-spec.
They are very good for our use. When new at full tread or shaved to 4/32 they are quite good in the wet. Once you get a few heat cycles in them they grip quite well. Some say Kumho's are faster, but that is only little bit probably less than 1 sec per lap at most. The toyo do last MUCH longer as compared to the victoracers. My last set of Kumho got me 16 heat cycles (track sessions) before I corded one tire. My toyo's hav lasted between 35 to 48 heat cycles before they just got old. Never saw cord, but idid have a signficant loss of grip. This is under race conditions. They are a great DE tire. Ok at autocross, but the softer Victoracer is superior especially when used cold like in autocross.
They are faster than A032R's and Azenis.

RA1's....Love them. Great when new and in the rain. Grip is good down to the cord. Not as sticky as Hoosier but pay much less and last longer.
