I saw this car a few days ago but haven't been able to catch the owner to get options so I can find color, it's almost the same as my shark but I don't see any color name matching this on any of the lists..
anyone?

I know where the codes are but this owner is NEVER home and won't respond to my notes I left, just hoping someone knew off the top of their head

What year is the car? I'm going to guess respray, but if you get me the year I can get all the colors produced that year. (well other than factory specials)

 

I'll stop and get the vin off the windshield tomorrow, I can look up the yrs/colors but just don't see any kind of purple/plum/black cherry listed, I know of 2 other 928s that are the same color and they don't know if it's a porsche color either

 

Well you have to keep in mind that porsche did that exclusive program thing (not sure what they call it) but you could pick from a much larger group of colors, and thats not quite as documented.

 

yeah I've had a few folks tell me this color wasn't in any book they saw either but swear it was factory...

interesting color... perhaps i should make the spec miata purple.... muhahaha
