Default Sunroof Gear Question

One of my sunroof gears is starting to go bad and I was wondering how hard its going to be to replace. I've seen them on pelican parts and they are cheap so that's not a problem, How much work will it be??

it's fairly easy. is it a gear in the headliner that's bad? if so, you have to remove the headliner a bit to access the gears, but it's a 30-45 minute job. if i were you, i would replace both gears (one for each lifting mechanism)

A fairly easy job, but I recommend reading their tech document first: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...44_sunroof.htm
