Wheel spacers
This probably has been answered before, but i had no luck with the search feature. Whats the largest spacer you can run on an 86 944 without getting longer studs?

I'd say no more than 5mm... General rule of thumb is 1.5x the diameter of the fastener in engaged threads. A lot of DE events won't let you participate if you have less than 9 threads engaged.
