Looks as though you'll have to relocate.

What?? You don't want to be able to watch your cars rot before your very eyes and have every fastener spontaneously weld themselves to whatever they are connected to?

While attempting to redo my front suspension, Matt H determined my car was, in fact, held together by rust.

Maybe they'll still have a position in two years....

I know what you mean. My SE-R is in the same boat. A good friend of mine was helping me work on it and said that people should NOT be allowed to have nice cars in the rust belt.

Living in Texas has been such a joy. I have yet to replace an exhaust or break a fastener. It's wonderful.

It's something from my dark and distant past.

I'm reminded every time I work on my Sentra (which spent 4 years in upstate NY).

Well, I get to go to AZ every few months to drive cars at our test track. It's not too bad when temps are below 100 F. I love the locals giving me the crap about how it's "dry heat" when it's 110! Screw that! It's still 110.

Any way - it's a nice place to visit - but it's not for me.

Hey - when was the last time you guys did this in AZ or TX?

We have skiing in Northern Arizona in Winter. An there is a rally that is run based out of Las Vegas that runs in winter. One year they got snow on parts of the route.

I like that kind of snow. Nice, pretty, and when tire of it I just go back home.

Actually, the Texas panhandle gets quite a bit of snow. Came as a shock to me. Hey, I'm from upstate NY. What do Texans know of snow?

Anyway, when you're doing that, I'm racing on roadcourses, nice and comfy.

And this isn't comfy? The heater works. And the worst thing you're likely to hit is a snow bank. It's like crashing into a pile of feathers!

Now the rallies are little different. There are trees to hit if you go too far off. By then the snow has scrubbed off most of the speed. Still not too bad.
