It's alright vice versa (from synthetic to normal).
I'm sorry but that is a crock...it's like saying "I smoked cigarettes for 20 years so what good would it do me to stop now" If synthetics are a better product, many opinions here, the engine will benefit from it, there's nothing wrong with good dino, keep the interval down to 3K and the benefits vs. syn will narrow. Just don't tell people not to switch to synthetics past 60K miles. You are wrong and I will stop there.
