From: Central Illinois. Cornfields a plenty.
Yep, sure will. 40 bucks is a drop in the bucket when you can say "This was listed and a deadbeat bidder welched out at X dollars..Dont waste my time" That statement almost validates what the potential market value is. (It's BS and WE know it.)
The e-vil bay system perpetuates itself. Case in point. This happened with a 951 I was looking at: (Nice to be able to backtrace IP's and underpin the e-bay user id's) It was listed 3 times, all won by a different bidder ID with 0 feedback with the same IP address. Each relist was with an initial bid MORE than the last initial offering bid was., consequently the "winning" bidder was at least a grand higher than last time out..
A vehicle goes up on a "no reserve" auction. It appears to be getting less than the seller thinks, with 1 hour(or day..) left they start sniping themselves with a bogus newbie account to inflate pricing. They WIN thier vehicle back at 25% more than they were willing to accept. they relist and use the inflated price as a benchmark using the statement above to push bidding even higher.
It costs the seller between zero and 40$ to relist (nothing if they complain to e-bay about "deadbeats"..)
They relist in a few weeks and the process starts again.
"I'm listing for a friend", different e-mail adddy's, different Phone #'s, different towns and addresses are easy.
IP addresses dont lie.

Damn, my brother got an 89 with half the miles and a manual transmission for less then that winning bid. Unfortunately my brothers new one doesnt have rust on the bolts holding the struts, or rust on the hood latch. See, he should have waited and bought that beaut.

How do you get 8k for an auto 944?? I still dont understand how it can be a scam, the guy has a perfect feedback history...sorry Chris, I'm not getting it...how does he make money?
Yeah, and that friggin radar detector looks like it should accompany a flux capacitor or something...just dont hit 88 mph...

Hey, the seller found the right buyer. EBay rocks! The ad was kind of of funny, but the seller must have said the right things:
This vehicle shifts out great and rides smooth.. The engine on this vehicle is well maintained. The tires are in good shape.
Whatever!!!

Don’t even trust the IP, you can get several programs one of the simplest to use is Steganos Internet Anonym Pro 7 available here.
This simple program bounces you around the world giving you a different IP every few seconds. Impossible to trace the real IP if someone is using a program similar to this.
Don’t trust anyone!
