Default NO brake pressure

Hey guys,

Well I decided to take my calipers off and paint them, I actually think I did a good job. I made sure to hook up the Brake lines right.

But now I have no brake pressure at all and I filled it with braking fluid. I keep pumping it but No pressure. Did I maybe miss something?

I know this maybe a retarded Q but I am a super rookie.

Thanks

Not to be picky, but did you remember to bleed them?

Uh No I did not,

I thought I may need to do that. But I just thought that I would get a lil pressure without having to bleed them.

Again i am rookie, I will try that.

Bleed all four corners just to be sure. Start RR then LR, RF, then LF

if you're a rookie, don't make a rookie mistake. take it to a shop. bleeding brakes isn't something you want to learn by trial and error.

have someone show you how to do it

FYI, Anytime you open the brake hydraulic circuits, you have to bleed them. Also, use fresh brake fluid as it is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. Water in the brake fluid leads to internal corrosion and brake fade as the water changes to steam when the brakes heat up. Follow Kevin's order on which to bleed first.
