Default 2 days at Pocono ...

On the first day, it rained and rained and rained some more. The area was flooded. The only way into the track was an entrance/exit near the north course that they opened up.

Second day, clear blue skies and a little chilly. The car ran fantastic, didn't use any oil and performed flawlessly.

Engine rebuild is officially a success...that rear engine oil leak may be the cork gasket at the rear of the cam tower.

I couldn't have done it without your help, thanks all.

Now up to 1100 miles, 200 of them on the track...

Adrial:
Good to see you this weekend. Glad you had a blast, but we missed you on the autox section of this event!

NNJR held a "Porscherama" this past weekend at Pocono Raceway. This was a multi-activity event which included: Rally (rained out on Day 1), Concours, DE, Autocross, and Time Trials. Despite the inclement weather (and for me, the lack of MY CAR! ) the event was a great fun and a success!

Excellent job Adrial! I'm glad you got it all together in time. You'll have to take me for another ride sometime. The hoist should fit in the back, right?

Adrial, if it is the cork gasket, I found Curil sealant applied to the gasket to work well.

Hope to see you at Pocono, hopefully I can get my block fixed by then.

You guys have a website that lists your events? I was up a couple of times this summer and didn't see any 944s running.

Thanks for the info Z-man. That explains it. I was up for the SCCA events, not the PCA events. Maybe I'll see you there next season.
