I wasn't screaming "repost" or anything, there was a lot of discussion in the other thread about what car it was, the switch, and the ethics of it all. It seems a lot like 2 threads of thesame thing.

If you watch some of the later episodes of the Dukes, you'll actually notice that they had to resort to using models for some jump scenes, as the supply of wreckable Chargers dwindled over the years. It kind of amazes me that they even bothered, as they must have had miles of stock footage of those cars slamming around dirt roads and landing hard. I don't know how much stock footage they used in every episode, but the fact that the characters always wore the same clothes (from 1979-1985!) suggests a very high recycled content %.
