Default Some Progress Update

here are some pics of what i have done to the car so far. When i took the camshaft off the seal tore cause the idiots that did it before me glued a piece on so it tore when it came off. Where can this be purchased at?? U can see how theere is milkshake everywhere by the pics. I am almost pulling the head off right now. Just two more bolts

also i was told to buy copper spray or something like that to put on the head gasket but i went to autozone and i didn't see anything like that?? Can anyone help me out here.

Pelicanparts is one place many more. Anyways I wouldn't use any of that copper spray crap. IMO you should change that seal everytime you un-torque those bolts. It would start leaking if you just used the old one. You should also keep your lifters in oil so they don't dry out.

i was told by danno to use the copper spray. Soo keep the silver looking things in oil right(lifters)

I don't know where to get that copper spray. Maybe it's something else I have in mind that I saw at the local rice autoparts store.

here are some more pics after i got the head off. I found where it blew which was near the #4. Also it looks like it is running rich? Any comments

I got my copper spray at AutoZone. You could try the real parts places like NAPA or CarQuest.

Its a gasket maker. Carquest has i saw it in there like 3 days or so ago. Look in the section where they have gasket sealants/makers. There is the blue and red silicones and then the Copper. It says Copper on the little box and the tube its in.

Actually, I think your looking for the copper spray, not sure, its with the RTV section in a spray can, i am actually heading there now, i'll grab the name.
