Thanks folks..!!

If you see it off for a few seconds today - it's me cleaning up some cabling and patch cables (IT'S a MESS after yesterday!!! )

Also Graham - my thanks!!! Can you do me a favor and run a tracert to "forums.rennlist.com", which is on the new circuit, rather then "www.rennlist.com" which is still partitioned off on an old circuit? I'd love to see the differences between the two!

Thanks!

JD

I'll make you a deal... I'll do that *if* you reply to the gazillion ADMIN notes asking where the Forums went??? Some of the notes aren't all that great to read..!!!

Best to you!

Sure, sign me up! That sounds like an opportunity to have a *lot* of fun [insert evil grin and laughter here...]! After dealing with the problems my employees throw at me, it might be a welcome release...

You don't have an editoral standard for replies, do you? lol

If the words pass through spellcheck - you should be fine

Seriously, most of the e-mails are terrific and usually ar esomething like "Hi John, for some reason I can't get into the Forum. Is it at my end or yours? I know you are busy, so let me know..." Those folks I try to get back to with a quick acknowledgement and let them know what's happening back here. When it's set - I'll write back again something like - "Give it a try now, and let me know..!"

HOWEVER, sometimes you get notes that really irk me, like this: "SIRS. WTF ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING BACK THERE? I CAN'T GET INTO THE FORUMS AND IF YOU BANNED ME I WILL SUE YOU..... WTF IS YOU PEOPLES PROBLEMS" (that's a copy and paste of a portion of a real e-mail. My gosh, at least you'd think folks could at least use proper grammer in a flame?? Anyway - you can ignore those. I do... )

Best to you!!!!

John

I'm in Hartford, CT on possibly Internet 2, not sure. It's sporadic, sometimes I'm getting this:

"403 Forbidden - The server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server"

John D, my normal connection just came back, after ~26 hours. Seems quick.

For some reason, if I do a tracert, it still times out.

Hi John, it was down for me all day yesterday on comcast cable in Pittsburgh, but it's back up now. It seems a little bit faster maybe, but then again I had no complaints about the speed before.
