Question quickie, CV axel bolt size is (not) M12

triple-square, cheeshead, whatever... TIA, you guys.

I think it's M8, but not sure here in the office.

Yep, I measured M8x1.25x48. With 24mm of thread. and 8mm triple square.

those cv axle bolts strip pretty easily if the tool doesnt go all the way in so make sure nothing obstructs the tool. Also if it is anything to you i replaced my cv bolts with a regular allen bolts which are stronger, you dont have to use the same ones that came on the car just make sure they are high grade.
