Default Early window switches

I’ve been having to clean black carbon spots off the contact points inside my switches way to often, in order to keep my pwr windows working. I'm assuming the window motors are drawing more current than they should, due to binding and or motors needing to be cleaned inside, thus causing the carboning up of the points in the switches. What would be the “normal” current draw in amps, that one would expect to see in these circuts? Can it easily be checked using an inductive/clamp on type tester? Thanks!
