Did KKK use bb originally ? Why is BB more expensive or better ?

Ball Bearing KKK 26-6

OEM 944 Turbo 86-88 (non-S) 2.5L KKK K26-6 # 5326 970 6720X REBUILT TURBOCHARGER.

Normally they are non-ball-bearing (oil / fluid / plane bearing only) though, right?
