What fluid am I leaking?
Just a day or two ago I noticed a puddle of greenish fluid on my driveway that looks like it's dripping from the right front (drivers side) of the engine compartment. Any ideas what this could be?

sounds like coolant. did you taste it? see if your cat likes it. (no animals were harmed in the making of this response)
seriously - lots of coolant connections over in that area.....overflow tank, radiator drain plug, several coolant hoses

eye) theoretically, you could include refrigerant from the A/C system - but then you could also include jay) the air in the tires (air is a fluid afterall).
Forgot one: kay) We'll need something to make it run. How about gasoline?
Now of these - how many are green?

I once had to vent my AC system (R134a) and didn't have proper equipment, so I vented it into a plastic garbage bag. It turned to a foamy liquid with a neat *gold* color, so we know it's not refrigerant (although I don't know about R12)!

And my coolant is orange, thank you.

I think that Brian in Surrey, B.C., is right on the edge of automotive troubleshooting, given his initial, timely reply.
On a more serious note, a few times my 83 just decided to spit coolant out of the little tube from the expansion tank after a long freeway drive. I think replacing the radiator cap did the trick, but I don't remember any more.

Many years ago, I went to a 10-minute oil change place, and, among other "services", they topped off my coolant . . . in the windshield washer bottle. Imagine my surprise the first time I hit my windshield washer and this dingy blue-green stuff came out, my windows were streaky, and the cabin wreaked of coolant! :yuk:
