Oil pressure...
OK, you all knew this was coming...
I poured oil into the top hole, turned the engine backwards, did an oil pressure dance, applied pressure to the dipstick tube, cranked the engine and i got oil flowing out of the oil filter housing.
But, I put the filter on...crank for 30 secs, break, another 30 seconds... (with the plugs out) and I'm seeing no oil pressure still.
I pulled 2 plugs out of the top of the cam tower and checked for oil in there, it is damp but not drenched as I imagine it should be.
So, could it be oil pressure relief valve even though i am getting oil flow?
It could be the oil pressure sender itself as I have no mechanical gauge...but I should see more oil in the cam tower I would think?
thanks for any help,
Adrial

Update:
I pulled the oil pressure sender and put my finger over the hole... oil drained out initially and then I got nothing after 10-15 seconds of cranking. Weird...

OIL PRESSURE! 2 bar with just the starter and the plugs out
I applied vacum to the top part of the oil filter housing (goes to pump), then cranked, oil flowed out, pun on filter, cranked a little more and bam... pressure

I had issues with my swapped car after going through the motor and with my NA after doing bearings, gotta prime the living hell outta these cars. I put a rubber hose on a funnel and filled the cooler housing, cranked the motor backwards by hand to get the oil pick-up system primed. Worked for me so far. Glad to hear you're going now and sorry I couldn't help sooner.
