Let me be the voice of reason here and suggest..................
Are you certain that the trans needs to be replaced? If might be worth spending the money for an hour's worth of labor at your mechanic's shop to check it out first. It could be some weird combination of shift linkage and CV joints, or something as major as needing a new trans. Do you really want to spend the money on a new trans before you have ruled out other options first? What happens if you buy the new trans and it ends up being something else?
BTW, if it is the trans, $1050 installed for a LSD turbo trans with a warranty is a steal.
