Putting car on jackstands without damaging car

I put the stands right under the outermost bolt on the caster block. I never had a problem and the car was very stable. The safest thing to do is jack up the car and put ramps under the front wheels. I have a pic of that somewhere. If I find it I'll edit it into this post.

Luis, I never even realized it moved! Either way, when you're that close to the mounting point, any movement is minimal. ...and I have some HUGE jack stands for the back because even level on the ground those points are higher up... I never had a problem with height unless I was using ramps..
