Bay Area T-Belt Party THIS SAT.
Just a reminder, some of you lost interest or never PMed me back about the T-belt party.
Info, once again
Where : My house, in Cupertino, CA. 10 minutes away from where we meet for the fun runs.
What : Timing belt/Balance Shaft Belt replacement or tensioning. Joe has been gracious enough to let us borrow the P9201 factory tool, and all of the other tools involved in the job.
When : Try to arrive at 9AM to let your engine cool down. Belts should be tensioned with the engine cold. Last car will most likely finish before 3 PM, but you can leave as soon as you finish.
Food : Bring a couple bucks for lunch, I can fire up the grill

That's friggin sweet. I spent about half an hour playing with the KR-1 today before I felt confident enough to rip the cam housing off. It'd be nice to test against the factory tool for sure though! Unfortunately, I'll probably be **** deep in a clutch replacement on saturday, but I'll try to finish quickly enough to go meet some local enthusiasts.

I'll be out and about all day with the girlfriend.. But we'll be down at Partsheaven for an hour or two, probably around noon-1:30 or so. If you see me, say hi. we'll be in my gf's VW Cabrio.
