Can anyone tell me just how loose the Balance belt appears when at correct tension. After inspection mine is capable of sliding on the roller and can wiggle it up and down near the WP pulley apprx 1/2+ inch.
My Cam belt also just touches the WP pulley and with a little pressure on the belt the pulley won't move but you can spin the pulley by hand when the belt is untouched. I am assuming the belt tightens a bit when running and this creates enough pressure on the pulley to spin it? Or should it not be able to spin by hand at rest?
I ask because I want to know how the drive belts appear when all is good before I change the belts/rollers as a reference. TIA.....Dal

No Kriket. I just was shocked at the balance belt as wobbly as it is and was curious as to how loose it appears. I know it is half the tension of the cam belt and appears much looser than the cam belt. Getting set to to the change anyway just would like a good idea of what it looks like at proper tension proviided that mine is loose and did not want use it as a reference in case. Thanks
