So any power figures for it at how much boost? Are the two BOVs for double the protection for the supercharger? OR is that just for bling and sound factors...

Unianimous voting so far -- I think it's pretty clear what he has to do.

If you're in to it that deep, what's another $4K?

Just take the time, save up and do it when you're up to the task. . . Hell, I reached the point of wanting to blow mine up more than once (just a couple weeks ago in the case of my 951) but I'd never forgive myself if I ever sold either of them. Please either sell it - whole - to someone here to finish or better yet, just finish it off!

What sort of two-piece rotor is this? And, on the spacer, wouldn't those studs that are sticking out past the nuts interfere with the fittiment of the wheel?

The answer to this poll is a no-brainer. That car is so far past the point of no return it isn't even funny. Tell him to stick with it, if nothing else but to drive it for a little bit and enjoy the fruits of his labor before he has to take a financial bath.

As everyone else has said there is no choice u must finish it. It will be a bad @$$ 944. If u have to take a break then come back to it and finish it. Your almost there and once its finished it will be worth more to him than any other car he could buy becuase he made into his car with his own work. Just make sure yo do it right.

If the belt is slipping, he needs a bigger pulley. He can still make the boost he wants, but he needs to run a bigger supercharger pulley, underdrive the alternator and power steering, and OVERDRIVE the crank drive pulley. the slip will go away. There are several places on the net that could make the custom drive pulley, and off the shelf broadfoot underdrive for the PS and alternator should work.

S2NUT,

jp944's solution sounds pretty dead on, what's Marco think about it?

Enough voting, let's find fixes!!!
