While we are talking cookie cutters, I'm still looking for 2 of them as long as it's cheaper than repairing the two my Son bent. Condition isn't as important as price but serious curb damage is a no-brainer. I've got 15" PD's on there now and still prefer the retro look of the CC's...call me Old School but I agree with Don, I love those things!

"After about 6 hours of stripping, what do you guys think?"

Those look great. What did you use to remove or nuetralize the anodizing on the rim section before polishing. I've never had a problem with the painted/powder coated center section using the usual aircraft stripper stuff but haven't tried it yet on an anodized polished rim like the CC's and Fuch's. A little info on your pre-polish prep would be valueable to many on this list...OK maybe just me! I've learned not to clearcoat polished aluminum. There isn't enough anchor profile to really bond well...Mothers Metal Polish, Semi Chrome, or Flitz will keep them looking good for years.

The tires are 215/60/15 and thank you for letting me know which way the center caps were supposed to go because I had no idea.

The only stripper I used was aircraft stripper. I put at least 7 coats on each wheel and it worked great.

To paint the center caps I went to a local craft store and bought a paint marker. It only took me about 10 minutes to paint each center cap.

Damn! You actually listened to Tifo? This may start a trend!

Helluva nice job. I can appreciate the work you put into that. I'm way too lazy and impatient to do that kind of job.

That's scary. I guess as long as I don't ask anyone to drink any Kool-Aid we are OK.

Nice job, those wheels look great!

Thanks Pete! It was defintly hard work but I think it was worth it. As far as listening to Tifo, I am also going to give the eccentric adjustment a shot tomorrow morning.
