Thats weird, I actually like it. I wont do it, but that looks nice. I wonder what that would look like with polished lips?

humm, with a polished lip? I'm sure if done well it would look good.

I won't do it, as these wheels were scuffed up, so too much to repair.

Bryan,

I feel more at home in the 951 than any other car, and its good to have one back in the garage, even if she is very close to stock. I do plan on slowly making changes to her to bring her up to speed, I have a set of brake pads ready to go in, two sets of phone dials, and up next will be some suspension work, and perhaps chips and a test pipe. I just want the car to be up to the task of VIR / RoadAtlanta.

Been there - done that. Great look, IMO. Breaks the 'usual blah style'.

..... 5 YEARS later ....

They need to fix the quick search function so it brings up posts by date not relevance . This is getting silly.

I tried the "anodized" look. Unfortunately, it had a green look so I repainted them silver.

Just tell me you are going to finish them with clear...

When I re-painted my wheels I thought they looked OK, then I cleared them, a little wetsand action followed by polishing later... Huge difference..

Ians bronze I actually like, but they needed to be clear coated to have a finished look... as they were (5 years ago..thanks for pointing that out Travis, I actually hadn't looked at the date until I read your post) look unfinished to me...
