I'm looking forward to joining you guys. . . I think I should "properly" fix this issue first though - I don't want the compressor clutch falling off somewhere! I suspect it's a bad bearing / pulley and it's going to continue binding somewhat and making that unsettling grinding / metallic noise until it is replaced, but I imagine I've bought a few weeks. . .

Welcome to Boosted! Its always nicer when a new 951 owner is a Porsche enthusiast too. Then, I have never seen a non-enthusiast 951 owner ever sell his car within the first three months. I believe the 951 will transform you into a Porsche nut by rule of simple ownership. Now, I have to plot out my car search for today...
