Geo, I figure we'll open her up and see what's what. I got a spare belt in the extra stuff he gave me. I don't know if it's timing or balance shaft though.

Crack of noon?

Actually, we'll be up and at training by 7:00. Home by 9:00, so sometime after that for me.

Brian, if you want to go to TWS on Sunday, do you want to stay at my house Saturday night? That will save you a trip back to Clear Lake and then back up to Kingwood.

Up to you. The spare room is already made up. The rest of the house is in various levels of disaster at the moment, but that's OK.

Yeah, that'd be cool! Thanks a million! Now I just have to decide which car to take....well it's kind of a no-brainer since the AC isn't working in the turbo.

I thought the turbo WAS the air conditioning

Brian, if you want a different drive. You can take Beltway 8. It's a toll road and I think you have about 3 tolls (1.00 each) between your place and 59 north.

Call me @ 832 654-8935 when you get close and I'll guide you in.

For all interested in dropping by. Got burgers, chips, potato salad, drinks etc.

Sorry I couldn't make it over James. I don't have Internet access at the new house yet and there wasn't any way for me to get directions after I left work at 3pm on Friday. Car looks great by the way.
On the flip side - you guys missed a great sod throwing party at the new place on Saturday. Nine pallets - 450 square yards of muscle numbing fun! Finished just before the rains hit. Gotta thank the man upstairs for that one! The timing was perfect!

Keith, I hate to tell you this,,,,,you do know you have to mow that stuff. Just making more work for yourself......

As for the GTG, we will have to do it all over again, so there's a chance you can swing by. We just "looked" at everything, and it all "looks" OK. The general opion is it's the balance shaft area. Either belt, roller, or something. So we will tear it all apart and redo it from scratch.

I'm making a parts list right now.

Allrighty, James...check out this thread, it's what originally tipped me off that my balance shaft was out of alignment. After going back and re-reading I'm even more convinced that is what is wrong with yours.

Brian, excellent link.

James, looks like we're gonig to tear it down and redo it.

Anybody know how it's possible to get everything to line up and still be 180 out?

Perhaps - but then again, I didn't lay mine upside down!

Just kidd'n ya! Would love to help out on the second round. Maybe I can toss some carpet on the floor - seems I have lots of experience laying stuff (wait - that didn't sound quite right).

Y'all should have been at Kartzone Saturday night. I ran with a bunch of my other car buddies, and we as a group all had best laps under 26 seconds.

Oh, yeah, new sig...
