Rear Speaker Depth? ('90 944S2)
Searched the archives... Does anybody know what the depth limit is for rear speakers? I'm getting set to do 6.5's and want to make sure before I order.

There is not nearly the same depth restriction in the rear as there is in the front; I'm not sure on the exact dimensions, but I do know that you can put pretty much whatever speaker you want back there. I wouldn't worry about the depth.

Thanks! I'm looking at putting in some 6.5's with a 300hz LP Xover for a little more base/low-end fill... I've found a pair that I like that have a 2 3/8" depth and just want to be sure they'll fit before I order them. I haven't pulled the windows and panels yet to check, but it looks like it's fairly deep from the few pics I've found...
