Who what where???, I race at Santa Pod and Shakespear County Raceway. I've just got my car over to Canada, i've checked out Cayuga (Toronto Motorsports park as wasn't overly impressed, pretty cars running twelves-tens, it's fast but I am giving away at least 150 bhp and 1.5L displacement. I'll do a quick search for 'Grand Bend Motorplex' and see what thats like, were just moving house tomorrow so this season is out apart from some test and tune's with the nitrous and a little more weight saving. Where about is this place???

Default Grand Bend

Grand Bend is about 3 hours west of Toronto, on Lake Huron. It's a small tourist town that sees 90% of its activity during the summer months. The Motorplex is east of town and is the site of some of the bigger drag racing events in Ontario (I assume). Their website provides a fair amount of information. I was just curious if you run there or not. I thought it would be cool if our respective trips to the area occured on the same weekend.

I'm not a big fan of drag racing - but I would make an exception to come and see your car run.

Seems all the race strips are out that way, I'll pop down there before the season is out and see how they set up there track. It would be good to race the rover this season but it's not very likely (mortgage has taken every penny we have), we will be running down the 124 fine tuning the rear end as it is time for new shocks and replacement of the broken bumpstops.

Did I miss something here, has it been that long, my car has only been used to pick up the post and sits in the garage for the rest of the time. A puppy came along along, and with some different projects now on the go, before I knew it the car is about to be relegegated to live out in the snow, I guess I should sell the good parts off it but I can't bear to let all the hard work go to waste. Without my lathe and mill I really don't have the time, energy or ability to work on this stuff any more.
