I want to put a fire extinguisher in the passenger side compartment (the way they came).

I picked up an extinguisher, with all mounting hardware, but can i drill in the side to place the mounting screws?

Is this a good location, or is there somwhere else?

Rock: Yes, my previous '88 (RIP) came with a fire extinguisher bracket in that area.
