Default Options Pricing?

I found a site that has the base prices of our cars: http://www.dealerselect.com/carprice...rs/1987car.pdf (put in whatever year, obviously)

BUT... I'm curious as to how much the options added to that. Does anyone know of a website that might list that? Even if it has just the major ones, I'd be interested (tranny choices, cruise control, seat options).

Thanks,
Kevin

The base price of an 86 944 Turbo was $29,500, by 89 it was up to $44,900...now that's a scary jump.

Ah, the wondrous, go-go 80's where the real estate market made a lot of thousandaires into millionaires. Then the bubble burst, around 1988, and people stopped buying toys.

Of course, now, it's the same kind of situation, but you can buy a turbo s for something less thant $40K.

That's a good site. Fun facts: My '87 924S cost about what the Celica I got in 2000 did. And twice as much as the '87 Sentra my parents bought that year.

I had no idea the 928 was so expensive!

944Ecology is right: it was largely a result of the stock market crash in October of 1987. The plunge on Wall Street took the dollar down with it. Hmm... sadly, that's the current status of the dollar vs. the Euro right now. Because of the poor exchange rate, I cancelled a trip to Europe earlier this year. Come on dollar, regain your power already!
