Default Starting problem ...

I did try to search for this, but the search function keeps returning "The page cannot be displayed" and "64 - Host not available"
Anybody know what is up with that?

I have been experiencing a starting problem with my 951 lately. I just got it all back together after replacing the brake booster, MC, and all of the vacuum lines. Usually the car starts fine if it has been sitting for a while (ie: over night). It has not wanted to start the past two nights after driving to my parent's house and allowing the car to sit for about 2-3 hours.

Last night it ended up starting after about 20 minutes of trying (I ended up holding the gas pedal to the floor and it started, but this did not work tonight). Tonight, I was not able to get the car to start (tried holding the pedal to the floor again). I ended up leaving the car at my parent's house.

The car is completely stock right now ... except for a 3 bar FPR (not sure if this might have anything to do with the problem). My stock FPR was spewing fuel everywhere and I had the 3 bar sitting around ... so ... The car turns over fine, but acts like it is may be flooded or not getting fuel at all. I am really not sure because I have never encountered a problem like this before.

Sounds like a 20$ DME relay problem.

I did not even think about that. I have a new one sitting in the back seat of the car too ... I am going to ride over there now and try it.

Well ... the car did not start when I first got over there. I pulled the old DME relay (for no real reason) and put it back in because the new relay was not in the car (as I thought it was). The car started right up after that. It started fine when I got it home also. I found the new relay in the garage, so I'll put it in the glovebox in case this occurs again.

Thanks for the help.
