Hi, it seems I need two of the spring clips that secure the cable sheath for the heater valve in this early 1983 car. One I have, it is at the end of the sheath, where on earth does the other one go to hold the cable in place?
Help much appreciated, we did manage to connect the cable end to the hot/cold lever in the console.
Mike

I can confirm that the cable end goes through the small hole in the white HCV arm. You'll have to rotate the entire HCV to get the wire through the hole, so that has to be done before you use the clip to attach the sheath to the HCV body or attach the hoses to the HCV.
I can also confirm that this is really hard to do since you have to work in the space between the engine and the firewall, right in the midline of the car. Have fun.
