Default Severe piston damage - check pics

This was a result of a broken timing belt, and then some fun with a valve REALLY hitting the piston, just the one cylinder.

Anybody got a spare piston???!!

Valve had to drop into the cylinder for that to happen, it looks like put the stem into the piston.

New piston? Nah, just get some JB Weld!

What about the rest of the engine, like the rods and crank?

I have a half torn apart '86 944 Turbo engine in my basement. Let me know if you need some parts we can negotiate.

Ouch, i heard that the valves could damage the pistons when the belts fails, but never seen one.

Looks like you need a new set of pistons i have NEW ones for sale for 944's, PM or mail me on hosrom@eim.ae for more info

Wow! I thought my piston was bad when I dropped a valve. What RPMs were you at?
