ok the first problem is that i'm finding it impossible to align the clutch release lever properly so i can put the pivot shaft in..i can't seem to align the lever just right to push the shaft further in
...any ideas or tips?
also, with my newly arrived ss fuel lines from rennbay...why doesn't the line fit the fuel dampener? i'm finding the hole on the dampener too big for the line to fit around
thanks

Jake,
When I was putting in my release shaft, I just had to move the release lever back and forth using the access hole right below the hole for the clutch slave piston. I also lightly greased the bearings on the release lever. Also, I installed a new release shaft. Is yours new or at least free from corrosion? When inserting it, I found that the shaft would slip in, then bind for a second, and then when I moved the release lever back and forth, it continued to slip in. I almost reached for a hammer, but then it just slipped in - actually surprising me.

I think the throw out bearing is installed incorrectly.
