Where I live, regulations for emition control tend to be "flexible" and the fact that I now have the motor to a reliable condition, what track modifications could you lay out to a 944 NA?

Strip all of the interior, absolutly everything, that gives you way more HP than any other mod you could plan to make, my 944 track toy, which I am making right now feels so much quicker minus everything except a partial dash, drivers seat, and harness. I even took out all of the tar undercoating on the floorboards. I'll try to weigh it at some point.

Biggest mod: the driver.
Second biggest mod: still the driver.
Seriously - if you plan on seeing track duty, and are fairly new to the game, then keep your car stock as long as you can. You will learn more at a faster pace than if you go mad with the upgrades too early.
I have a bit of track experience, and I still have my stock suspenion and motor.
Just my $0.42,
-Z.
