Not too happy with these new tires, very poor steering response, feels very squishy round the corners
I thought this was a performance tire ????

how many miles do you have? I noticed a huge improvement as the broke in over about 200 miles. please tell me they are broken in before you judge a tire.

my front feels like it goes wherever it wants to with the AVS's....it used to feel VERY planted with the worn out crap PD's. and auto-x was just a continuos squeel....no REAL grip.

i see... i geuss try and wait out another 100 miles and see how that goes. what size did you get? for the little amount of miles i do have on mine, I was pretty satisfied... except on bumpy and eneven roads. The car is all over on a rough road surface... noted and gotten over...

Yea, they are loud... I'm happy about that for this first set of tires, I want to know where the limits are, so I opted for a tire that will comunicate with me like that. my last tires were silent, even going sideways.

a lot of people dog the sp8000's, but i really like mine as well. i'll be sad when they're done as i believe the tire is being replaced by the sp sport fm901.

I just ordered another set of ES100s for my car, I've found them to be a really great tire.

I really like my ES100's on both my 83 Autocross car and my 88 Turbo S.

What tire pressures are you running? If you running a low pressure they can feel squishy just like any tire.

You are not stuck with them, depending on who you buy from. All the BS and FS tires have a 30 day test drive, you dont like them, bring them back.

You might also go back to your tire shop and bitch. By offering to spend more and buy a better tire they might be willing to trade them out for you.
