BB,
Car looks great. Same exterior and interior colors as my 86, but your paint and seats look to be in better condition. I need to recover the bottom part of my seats, they are not bad but they need to look better.
I just returned last night from visiting my daughter and her husband in Fairfax, Va. This was my first long trip since I bought this 944 and rebuilt the engine. On the return trip I left I-81 and went over to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a few miles. The 944 made the trip a pleasure.

Hey, I live less than a mile from Fairfax!

To be honest, the paint isn't original. I had it redone back in 2002. But the suprising thing is that it is a Maaco paint job. I wanted to get it redone but everyone kept telling me $5-8k for a good (no, not a "great", but a "good") paint job. I stripped the car down myself and brought it over to them to spray. It's not perfect, but the flaws are well worth the $3-6k that I didn't spend.

Brian,

Thanks for the intel. I recently discovered that Bosal made an exhaust setup for the 8valvers and I'm headed that way as the Bosal on my 85 has been a really nice find. I've also heard that they make a good set of headers, too - but I'm still going to start small. Likewise, Bosal offers a lifetime warranty if you send in an extra $20(!)

I think the Pacesetter tips look fine.
